Trust us when we say there's more to Bangkok's street food scene than pad Thai along Khao San Road. But not all are made equal. We'll take you to the chef's favoured spots, places that have been serving up hot suppers to the locals for generations.

But here's a taste of some drool-worthy highlights: mop up rich peanut satay with coconut-milk marinated chicken skewers and tangy ajat relish, scoop up the city's creamiest curry with cured sausage at a backstreet stall made famous by Netflix's series Street Food (it's always been a local hero), partake in peppery soup with crispy pork belly and rolled rice noodles and end on a sugary high along Yaowarat Road in all it's glowing neon glory.
