Description:
Set in a private house, Villa Frantzén is designed to feel more like an elegant dining room than a restaurant with a serene space informed by Scandi design. Neat rows of pickles and preserves line the shelves, while clever lighting evokes the warmth of candlelight. Tables are centred around the open-plan kitchen and dining is fine but not formal.

A six-course menu sees Michelin-star-chef Björn Frantzén elevate signature Swedish dishes with Asian ingredients: grilled scallops and fermented parsnips are marinated in Japanese dashi and chawanmushi is served with lobster and ikura (red caviar).
